Fujitsu and SC Ventures have unveiled their strategy for Qubitra Technologies, a joint venture designed to advance quantum computing capabilities in financial services and related sectors. The initiative evolved from Project Quanta, which began in September 2025, and operates from London headquarters with access to Fujitsu’s quantum hardware.

The venture pursues two primary objectives: developing quantum-enabled applications and establishing an ecosystem marketplace platform. Initial implementations targeting fraud detection and financial markets trading are scheduled for early 2026, with the marketplace platform launching in a pilot group later in the year.

Qubitra Technologies is led by CEO Vishal Shete, with SC Ventures CEO Alex Manson and Fujitsu Corporate Executive Officer Vivek Mahajan providing strategic oversight. The venture aims to bridge quantum computing capabilities with practical financial services applications.
