Standard Chartered has entered a multi-year partnership with Formula 1 to serve as the sport’s Official Wealth Management Partner and Official Corporate and Investment Banking Partner beginning in 2026. The bank operates in 19 of the 21 F1 race markets, positioning it to leverage the sport’s expanding demographic reach.
The partnership includes trackside branding expected to reach over 1.6 billion viewers globally, along with exclusive client experiences. Standard Chartered will also partner with F1 Academy to advance female participation in motorsport. F1’s audience is increasingly diverse, with 43% of fans under 35 and 42% identifying as female.
F1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali said he was “thrilled to welcome Standard Chartered,” noting both organizations are “truly global in nature.” Roberto Hoornweg, CEO of Corporate and Investment Banking at Standard Chartered, highlighted a “relentless commitment to high performance, innovation, and distinctive global connectivity.”
