Standard Chartered and B2C2 have established a strategic alliance to broaden institutional participation in digital asset markets. The arrangement provides B2C2’s clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, and family offices, with direct access to Standard Chartered’s banking infrastructure and settlement capabilities.
The partnership bridges traditional finance and crypto markets by improving fiat-to-crypto transaction flows, enhancing settlement speed and reliability, and combining regulated banking with institutional-grade crypto liquidity. B2C2, founded in 2015, is majority-owned by Japanese financial conglomerate SBI, with offices across London, the U.S., Japan, Singapore, France, and Luxembourg.
Luke Boland, Head of Fintech for Asia at Standard Chartered, said, “As digital assets move from the periphery to the core of global finance, we are enabling regulated, scalable market linkage without compromising execution or risk management.”
