Stripe has been named a Leader in The Forrester Wave: Merchant Payment Providers, Q1 2026, receiving the highest possible scores in more criteria than any other evaluated provider. Stripe is also the only company to be named a Leader in both the Forrester Wave for Recurring Billing Solutions (Q1 2025) and Merchant Payment Providers (Q1 2026).
The recognition comes as Stripe processed $1.9 trillion in total payments volume in 2025, representing a 34% increase from the prior year. The company powers more than 5 million businesses directly or through platforms, including all of the top AI companies, 90% of the Dow Jones Industrial Average, and 80% of the Nasdaq 100.
Stripe has also captured a significant share of new business formation, with 25% of all Delaware corporations now created through Stripe Atlas.
