The Supervisory Board of Allianz SE has announced a series of leadership changes to its Board of Management, effective January 1, 2027. The restructuring follows the planned retirement of Klaus-Peter Rohler, who will step down on December 31, 2026 after three decades with the company.

Tomas Kunzmann, currently CEO of Allianz Partners, will join the Board and take responsibility for Asia Pacific, including India. Renate Wagner will assume oversight of Germany, Switzerland, and Central Europe while retaining her People & Culture and M&A portfolios. Sirma Boshnakova will lead the Global Property & Casualty Retail unit, and Claire-Marie Coste-Lepoutre’s tenure as Chief Financial Officer has been extended through the end of 2031.

Supervisory Board Chairman Michael Diekmann praised Rohler’s contributions, while CEO Oliver Bate highlighted Kunzmann’s track record at Allianz Partners, which serves 90 million customers globally and exceeded 10.5 billion euros in revenue in 2025. Kunzmann joined Allianz in 2009 and has held leadership roles across the group’s German operations and international partnerships.
