Bank of America’s Merrill Wealth Management and Private Bank divisions have completed the full-scale rollout of an AI-Powered Meeting Journey, an integrated solution that optimizes advisor preparation, conduct, and follow-up for client meetings. The system features three core capabilities: Meeting Prep, which consolidates client insights into preparation materials; Meeting Summarization, an AI notetaker for virtual meetings activated with client consent; and Meeting Follow-Up, which generates task lists from meeting notes.

The company said the tool can save advisors up to four hours per meeting across millions of annual meetings. Bank of America invests $13.5 billion annually in technology, with $4 billion dedicated to new AI initiatives. The firm has spent over a decade building AI capabilities, having previously launched its virtual assistant Erica, which has logged 3.2 billion client interactions, along with ask MERRILL and ask Private Banking platforms.
