JPMorganChase has announced a $600,000 philanthropic commitment to the Georgia Cleantech Innovation Hub (GACIH) to support workforce development and infrastructure for clean technology innovation. The two-year grant funds partnerships with Georgia Institute of Technology’s Partnership for Innovation Network, enabling Morehouse College, Georgia State University, and Spelman College to develop experiential learning initiatives connecting students with clean tech career pathways.

The funding also supports site identification and feasibility studies for Atlanta’s first clean tech hardware incubation facility, addressing a documented gap in flex-industrial spaces needed by early-stage hard tech startups. GACIH Executive Director Andy Marshall said the incubator “fills a market need that we have seen firsthand.” The commitment complements JPMorganChase’s December 2024 investment of $350,000 in Georgia Chamber Foundation for statewide clean tech workforce development.
