Visa has announced six new dispute resolution tools designed to address billions of dollars in annual losses from inefficient dispute processes. The company processed 106 million disputes globally in 2025, a 35% increase since 2019, underscoring the need for modernization.
For merchants, Visa introduced the Dispute Resolution Network for streamlined pre-dispute handling, a Dispute Recovery Manager using generative AI for automated representment and win prediction scoring, and an update to Order Insight enabling Compelling Evidence 3.0 integration. For issuers and acquirers, the company unveiled Dispute Intelligence for AI-powered decision-making, Dispute Doc Analyzer for accelerated document review, and Dispute Case Manager to unify workflows across card networks.
Andrew Torre, President of Value-Added Services at Visa, said the solutions provide the visibility needed for serving customers and growing businesses while managing fraud detection challenges. Most tools will become generally available through late 2026.
