MetLife Investment Management (MIM) has named Andrea Drasites as global head of Real Estate and Agricultural Finance, effective October 1, 2026. Drasites, who joins from Blackstone where she held leadership positions over 13 years, will report to MIM President Brian Funk and oversee the firm’s commercial mortgage and equity real estate portfolio as well as its agricultural investments.
The hire follows MIM’s December 2025 acquisition of PineBridge Investments, which expanded the firm’s global footprint and specialized investment capabilities. As of December 31, 2025, the combined firm manages $741.7 billion in total assets under management across public fixed income, private fixed income, real estate, equity, alternatives, and insurance solutions.
