PayPal has launched Payment Links directly within Canva, enabling the design platform’s 265 million monthly active users to turn any design into a checkout experience. The integration allows creators, entrepreneurs, and small businesses to accept payments through PayPal, Venmo, and PayPal Pay Later without needing a separate website or storefront.
The partnership targets the growing social commerce market, projected to exceed $1 trillion by 2028. Users can generate payment links or QR codes, customize PayPal-hosted checkout pages, and accept payments across social platforms, email, messaging apps, and in-person settings. The service supports global payment acceptance in approximately 200 markets with multiple currencies and includes PayPal’s fraud protection and transaction reporting.
PayPal is also serving as the Official Payment Partner of Canva Create, scheduled for April 16, 2026 at Hollywood Park in Los Angeles. The PayPal Payment Links app is available globally through the Canva Marketplace.
